In 2014, Justin Kuyper, then 19 years of age and a sophomore at Cornell University, in search of hidden opportunities and undervalued assets, started delving into company filings, communicating directly with company vendors, suppliers, equipment manufacturers, and research analysts to obtain as much information as he could. Armed with this knowledge, he started investing from his room on campus with a personal computer and a brokerage account.

From this beginning, Justin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia Business School with Honors, worked in New York at management consulting and financial firms for three years, serving in advisory groups guiding many prominent institutional investment firms, and proceeded to found Cleardrop Investment. Mr. Kuyper is responsible for developing and guiding the firm’s investment strategies. He relentlessly researches and analyzes companies across the globe in various industry sectors with emphasis on technology, consumer cyclicals, and industrial sectors.

His informed approach draws upon his global knowledge and multi-lingual ability, with which he analyzes both domestic and foreign investment opportunities. He and his team of industry experts  examine every facet of companies including their intellectual property to identify high-yielding opportunities not readily visible.
